Wow, that’s a really good article. I’m a gun rights supporter through and through, and that article moved me a fair bit.
I still say it would be impossible to justify heavy gun control in a nation with 270 million guns though. You are heading the right way allowing CCW holders to carry guns on campus.
I think “fear” is the buzz word of the left these days, owning a gun shouldn’t be such a big deal, it is ironically the gun banners who have created this impression of extreme violent power in the hands of every gun owner. Massacres of this kind simply did not occur when a gun was just another tool locked away in the cupboard, there was no attraction for nut-cases.
